How big should the diamond in a promise ring be?

I was woundering about getting a promise ring. I would just like to know how big should the diamond in a promise ring should be??

I got a promise ring and was told it was real, but dont really want it to be...cuz otherwise it would be expensive.
It is silver colored, the inside of the ring says 10K 585 or 5&5 (its hard to read that small)
and then 45TW with a

I JUST got a promise ring from Zales, it was only 200 dollars but one of the tiny diamond accents fell out of it. My boyfriend didn't buy warranty or any guarantees on it, but if I bring the receipt will they put the little stone back in? (It's tiny.)

Take it back to the store and explain the little amount of time you've had it, even with no essential guarantee, stores usually allow a week for faults and returns...
