it's not a proposal or a promise ring or anything, it's just a ring to give her for our 6 month anniversary. we're 15 and she loves rings. but most of her rings have jewels on them.

I am now unofficially seeing a girl I have been close friends with for 3 years. I wanted to buy her a necklace for the one month anniversary of our first kiss. the necklace is available in sterling silver, or platinum. her most coveted piece of jewelry

i don't think it matters whether it's silver or platinum. i believe that the act of buying her a present will matter more.
anyhow, i would choose silver. don't know why though..i just like it more;)
