My engagement ring is a garnet stone and it represents the month my fiancé and I met which was in January. The ring is gold. My wedding ring is actually from my aunt. She gave me her old gold band from her first wedding ring. The band has little diamonds

You typically fuse two rings together after the wedding.

Cost depends on the jeweler, your location and how much they have to stretched ( some rings can't be stretched much).

He seems to have a problem with me not wearing my ring now at times. However, I couldn't see why it was a problem because I've had to deal with over 10 years of him doing the same things. So I figured to rest from the issue and make the whole ring thing

you know him better than we do. We can't get into his head. I would just straight up ask him what his problem is anf if you could work on a solution. Yes from the little I know of him, it sounds like a control issue. He wants you to be marked with a ring
